Next Gen Committee

About

Grape Growers of Ontario (GGO) is supporting the next generation of grape and wine industry partners to ensure there is a sustainable industry in the face of shifting demographics, climate change and fluctuating consumer trends. In 2019, Grape Growers of Ontario formed the Next Generation Committee to empower and advocate for young growers, fostering a unique and thriving future for the industry. The Committee is a collective group of 20 young grape and wine professionals who are actively involved with grape growing in Ontario. Some members come from multi-generational grape-growing families while others have entered the industry because of their passion for growing quality Ontario grapes.

In addition to the Committee, GGO has a Next Gen Ambassador program for any young growers who are interested in attending networking events and being made aware of opportunities to engage in industry events alongside the Committee members.

Contact Keara White at kwhite@grapegrowersofontario.com if you are interested in finding out more about the Next Gen Committee or the Next Gen Ambassador program.
